Better offensive movepool too, earthquake especially notable since now heatran isn't the perfect switchin. I'd be willing to run a shittier ferrothorn if it had rapid spin and roar too. Pangolash strikes me as a slightly worse ferrothorn for walling purposes but with far more utility. Rain+Thunder+Specs+Eccentric makes koko blush.
Decent coverage moves to boot and an emergency "kill everything" button never not a good thing. Extremely valuable speed tier and enough special attack to use it. Worse than ttar for that, but you'd be expecting special, so it has a place as bait and switch. Could also pull a physical set out its ass on you since it'll likely wind up learning dragon dance. Lack of sheer force STAB might keep it in check but its so versatile coverage wise you can never really be sure. >hurr sheer force bulky fucker with every special move ever concieved.
Lack of multiscale made up for by that u turn and nicer strong coverage moves overall. I'd say low OU or BL, roughly wherever dnite is basilect would be. It has different coverage to dnite, lacking element punches but it has stone edge and poison jab so yeah very different answers to both of these things. But like dnite it can set up and conceviably do well with that. Makes a damn fine scarf/band since it hits absurdly hard and can chunk resists with its u turn. Would completely usurp kingdra on rain teams.īasilect is a weird dragonite/genesect mashup. A fast water spout where the vast majority of water immunities are weak to grass.
